Introduction
Understand workspaces, environments, and the resources that connect your services.
One platform, a clear resource model#
Digital Universe brings cloud infrastructure and application operations into a shared workspace. A workspace owns projects, access policies, and an audit history. Projects contain environments such as development, staging, and production.
An environment groups the instances, networks, volumes, and services that belong together. Resource names are unique within an environment, so a service called catalog can exist independently in staging and production.
| Resource | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Workspace | Membership, access policies, and organization settings |
| Project | A product or team boundary |
| Environment | An isolated deployment context |
| Service | A versioned application and its runtime configuration |
Describe the outcome#
You declare a desired state in a manifest. The platform validates it, calculates a plan, and reconciles resources in dependency order. Applying the same manifest twice does not create duplicate resources.
